Home and business EV charger installation across Listowel and north Kerry. Safe Electric registered (A5964), full certification issued with every install. About half an hour from our base in Tralee.

Listowel has a good share of older property, particularly around the Square, William Street and Church Street. Handsome buildings, but the boards behind them are often a generation or two behind.
Two things come up. The board frequently needs upgrading, either because it's full or because it predates RCD protection. And parking is the bigger issue — the SEAI grant needs off-street parking, so a house fronting directly onto the street won't qualify no matter how good the wiring is. We'll tell you that before you order a charger, not after.
Ballygologue, Greenville, Clieveragh and the estates out the Tralee road generally have modern boards with a spare way. Straight install, half a day.
North Kerry is farming country and a lot of our work out this way is agricultural. If the charger is going on a yard or a shed rather than the house, that often makes for a simpler job — and where there's three-phase already in, you have options a house doesn't.
Flat €300 in 2026, cut from €600 in 2024.
Private home, off-street parking, and the grant not already claimed at that address. You don't need to own an EV yet.
The charger must be on SEAI's approved register and the installer must be Safe Electric registered. We're registered and only fit approved units.
You apply at seai.ie. We install, issue the completion cert, SEAI pays you afterwards.
Ballyduff, Lixnaw, Duagh, Moyvane, Tarbert, Ballybunion, Abbeydorney and the surrounding area.
About half an hour from Tralee. Surveys are usually within a few days.
We can fit one where it's safe to do so, but you won't qualify for the €300 grant without off-street parking. Running a cable across a public footpath isn't permitted.
Sometimes, often not without work. We check at survey and price any upgrade separately so you can see the split before deciding.
Yes, and regularly. Yards and sheds are often a straightforward job, and three-phase opens up faster charging if the supply is already there.
