Most of these have modern consumer units with RCD protection and a spare way. Straight install, usually half a day, no board work.
Boards vary. Some have room, some are full or predate RCD protection. We check at survey and quote any upgrade separately so you can see the split before committing.
The issue here usually isn't the electrics, it's parking. The SEAI grant requires off-street parking. If you're on-street, we can still fit a charger where it's safe to do so, but you won't qualify for the €300 — better to know that before you order a unit.
Blennerville and Ballyard tend to be longer cable runs from the board to where the car sits. Not a problem, but worth flagging at survey so the quote is right first time.

You'll qualify if the property is a private home, you have off-street parking, and the grant hasn't already been claimed at that address. You don't need to own an EV yet.
Two conditions: the charger must be on SEAI's approved register, and the installer must be Safe Electric registered. We're registered and only fit approved units.
You apply yourself at seai.ie. We install, issue the completion cert, and SEAI pays the €300 into your account afterwards.
